Aug 18: Karen and Hampton went to the Indiana Dressage Festival and rocked their 2nd time in the ring at I-1 with a score of 64.2%!!! This is a huge accomplishment for a horse that does not have the ideal conformation for dressage and she has trained herself. So proud!!
Aug 9: Majestic Farm Hotter than Blue Blazes was a blast! Fetti put down 2 solid I-1 tests with scores up to 67.9%! She still has room for improvement but is now qualified to do her freestyle. Karen and Hampton did their first I-1! Woot! It was a solid test with only a few mistakes and scored just under the 60%. She also had a very nice PSG test for a 60.8% Heidi and Yogi also came along and debuted at 1st level with scores up to 63.4% at 1st 3. She is now qualified to do a 1st level freestyle and got her 1st level scores towards her bronze medal! Fun weekend with great friends!
July 6: Fetti and I went to the KDA Summer Classic by ourselves. Fetti is now an I-1 horse! She received a 62.5% in her first I-1. She is still a little green at the level so I know we can score better once she gets stronger. Still super happy with that.

Nov 10: US Dressage Finals! My favorite show of the year. Lionus and I didn't take home a ribbon in the I-1 freestyle championship but he held his own in an open class of very fancy horses with a 68.7%! Couldn't be more proud of his mistake free test. He tries his hardest for me and puts his best out there. Karen and Hampton placed 9th with a 63.1% in their 4th level freestyle championship! Amazing accomplishment for this pair! Rachael and Sailor didn't place but got a respectable 65.4% in their 1st level freestyle championship! They were one of only a few OTTB represented at the Finals!
Oct 10: USDF Regionals!!! Me and Lionus finished in 4th place with a 67.6% in the I-1 freestyle championship! Very proud of this boy, he held his own in a very competitive open division. July 9: Jenn Boblitt Dressage had a fabulous weekend at the KDA Summer Classic and Pony Cup! I love that show! Great judges, venue, volunteers, and competitors party. Camille and Ike did great this weekend with a 66.2 and 63.7 in 1st 1. Her best scores to date! Alison and Sisu rocked 2nd level with a 66.3 and 65.2 at 2nd 3! In her 2nd level freestyle she got a 78.8 and 68.3. Woo hoo! All ready and qualified for Regionals. Fetti was a rock star also, we did 3rd 3 Sat and got a 67.5. I think it was her best test yet. And to finish the weekend, we got a 74.1 in our 3rd level freestyle! Much improvement from the last time, since I finally got to practice to my music. There were many high points ribbons and breed awards also. Such a fun weekend!

We missed you!
May 22: Fun weekend, with this group, at the Harmony in the Park show despite the weather delays! Fetti and I got both our qualifying scores towards regionals for our 3rd freestyle with a 65% & 67.1%. Still have some homework and need to get more familiar with my music, but I was happy with her performance. Alison and Lionus got both their qualifying scores for their 4th freestyle with a 66.6% & 69.1%!!! So happy for this team, they are finally getting all the pieces in the ring the way they get them at home! Alison also rode Sisu and got both their qualifying scores at 2nd level with 61.9% & 69%! Camille and Ike didn't get to ride their test on Saturday, due to weather, but put in a really solid test on Sunday and got a 62.7%. She has worked so hard to get back to riding after her knee injury, just a few months ago, and is riding brilliantly!!! Heidi and Rachael (my eventers I'm secretly trying to turn into DQ's) came with us this weekend for their first sanctioned dressage show. Heidi and Cameo had nice moments in their tests on Saturday, but tension kept them just below the 60% mark. By their last ride, Cameo was much more relaxed and they got a 61.5% at first level test 2! Rachael and Sailor had a couple discussions with each other on Saturday about staying supple and on the bit when you're in a dressage test. They had a much better test on Sunday and qualified to do their 1st level freestyle at 1st level test 3 with a 64.1%! Love this group!!!
April 23: Finally home from the 1st show of the season at the Mid Ohio Dressage Spring I & II! Fetti debuted at 3rd 3 and is now qualified for Regionals and to do our 3rd level freestyle! She is still a little green at the level and we definitely have some work to do, but I was happy with her performance. We got a 66.7% on Sat and a 65% on Sun. Karen and Hampton went with us and made a lot of improvement from Sat to Sun. I am very proud of her riding and their overall growth!

Alison and Lionus are still working on taking what they have in warm up into the ring, but they had a good schooling session after their test. I have no doubt she will get that energy in the ring soon! Karen and Hampton had some nice moments in their 4-1, but lacked energy today which caused some mistakes. They have made so much improvement over the last 6 months, and are so close to having it all come together! Fetti was a total rockstar!!! She won both her classes and was open high point at First and Second level! She scored a 69.8% at 1-3 and a 73.2% at 2-3! We are now qualified for Regionals at First and Second level. October 25: I'm officially an L graduate! Learned so much from this program. Looking forward to sharing this knowledge with my students. It has already changed my approach to teaching, and as a rider has given me insight into what exactly the judges are looking for. Excited to judge more schooling shows in the future!
September 19-20: Fetti went to her 1st show at Harmony in the Park. There was definitely some baby moments and she was the horse you hear screaming all weekend, but she was a super star! May 27: My horse Aragon is for sale. He is a 2003 17h black Canadian warmblood. He has schooled everything in the Grand Prix and was shown to I-1 with scores to 68%. He seems mentally and physically happier staying at Prix St. George or below. He is a great teacher and has a puppy dog personality. He does have a spook in him so needs a confident rider with a good seat. Requires some maintenance. Priced to sell at 25K. Did a basic pre-purchase and passed. X-rays available from last year.
SOLD. Congrats to Cara Fragomeni of Minnesota!

Karin Soltau did amazing her first time showing at 1st level with a score of 63%. So proud of these ladies!! She got a 60.4% and 59.4% at 2nd 3 and a 59.3% at 3rd 3. I was a little disapointed we didn't get above 60% in all the tests, but she is a little mustang not built for dressage. The judge said she admired what I have done with her, so that is nice to hear! Alison Otter and Lionus got 2 qualifying scores at 1st and 2nd level and received the Dover medal for both shows!
